ADHD is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and the drug is used to boost up work performance. Several amphetamine-based stimulants are presently being used by work force between the age group of 25 and 45. Some of those are prescribed drugs like Concerta, Adderall and Vyvanse.

According to doctors, this practice is a dangerous trend as regular use of the drugs may cause addiction, hallucinations and anxiety. Many users get the drugs illegally and some even pretend to suffer from ADHD to get prescribed by practitioner.
The New York Times writes college students have also started taking Adderall to cope up with the study loads. Students across many academic institutions across the country have developed a habit of using it.

The legal stimulants that are distributed without prescription are also taken into granted for the widespread use. As per Federal law these drugs are categorized as vitamins.

Most of the stimulants contain caffeine, herb extracts, amino acids, and other ingredients. These ingredients help in improving memory performance. The pills can be easily bought online in labeled bottles.

The FDA now needs to play pivotal role in regulating the use of these stimulants.
